If you would like to start a Metro Dads chapter in your area, just send an email to Mike Stilwell (head dad of DC Metro Dads) at Fleetsuper@msn.com . At your request, Mike will send you an information package with everything you need to know about starting your own chapter. We can further work with you on setting up, and maintaining a Web site for your group. We will even provide the Web space. In addition to these things, we will provide any support for you and your group that we can, based on our own experience with DC Metro Dads and being stay-at-home dads. In the future, we plan to add more services for our chapters and their members.
We have found our being members of DC Metro Dads to be quite invaluable to us as stay-at-home dads in helping with the isolation we felt, and just having a better quality of life. We hope that you will consider embarking on this worthwhile endeavor, and wish you the best of luck now and in the future. Remember the old adage, "nothing ventured, nothing gained."
